General Inclement Weather Policy

If the Mecklenburg County school system closes due to inclement weather, there will be no Driver Education classes or behind-the-wheel lessons held that day. When classroom or behind the wheel lessons are cancelled, teachers make every effort to contact affected students by phone, email, and through school announcements.

If Mecklenburg County schools are in session, each school office makes announcements regarding after-school activities. If after-school activities are cancelled at your school, all Driver Education classes and behind-the-wheel lessons are cancelled for that day.
