All Other Public High Schools Virtual Classes

The following are the scheduled dates for our Public School, After-School Virtual Program. Each class session will run for 14 days with 2 makeup days, and will be held on the Canvas Platform online.

Follow these steps to register:

Choose a class below that you want to register for.
Click on the "Pay Now" button.
Teachers will begin making contact with students at least two weeks prior to the start date of the class. Please be sure to monitor the email address that you registered with to ensure that you receive all information regarding the class. Letters will be mailed with class information to the address on file as well.

Tardies: CMS allows no tardies to class. Students coming to class tardy will have to make up a full class day on the scheduled makeup days.

Absences: For after-school, 14-day virtual class sessions, students are allowed to make up 2 days for excused absences. The missed day(s) will be made up on the listed makeup days for that class session. Students missing more than 2 days will be listed as a Fail and will have to register and pay to attend another class session. There are no refunds should a student begin the class and then fail due to missing more than 2 days.

Class Fee: There is a fee of $65 to take the classroom phase of Driver Education; the driving phase will be free of charge. To guarantee a spot in a class, you must register and pay online BEFORE the registration cutoff date listed with the class with a credit card by clicking on the “Pay Now” button found below each session that is open for registration.

Some students may be eligible for a reduction or complete waiver of the $65.00 registration fee. See the fee waiver page for more information.

Payment and Receipt: If you do not have the ability to make payment through the website via the payment buttons below, you can still guarantee a spot in a session and receive a receipt by coming by the Jordan Driving School offices before the class cutoff date and pre-registering. Please call the Jordan Driving School offices at 704-566-9900 before coming to the office to see if space is available for the class that you are interested in. Payment can be made with a certified check, money order or cash. Certified checks or money orders should be made payable to, “Jordan Driving School Charlotte”. PERSONAL CHECKS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.

Class Session Capacity Information: The maximum number of students for a class is 35.

Refund Policy: There will be no refunds should a student begin the class and then dropout or fail.

Class Time: 4:00-6:15pm

Please Note: 18-year-old students are not required to take Driver Education to be eligible to obtain a license in North Carolina.

Class Dates: September 30 (required Zoom meeting), October 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21 (2020) Makeup Dates: October 22, 23

Students must have been born on or before April 1, 2006 to register for this course.
